Serving Those Who Serve: Kingdom Workers’ Support for Military Families

For military families, life is full of unique challenges—frequent moves, long deployments, and the emotional toll of serving. At Kingdom Workers, we recognize the sacrifices made by military personnel and their families, and we want to serve those who serve us.

We offer programs designed to provide community, care, and support.

Support for Military Families Through Foster Care

Frequent relocations and the unpredictable nature of military life can make it hard to establish deep community connections. But there are thousands of foster children who need loving, temporary homes—many of whom are placed with military families.

Our foster support program partners with churches and volunteers to provide these free services and so much more!

Meals or lawncare

Babysitting or carpooling

A companion to listen or offer encouragement

If you’re already fostering or considering it, we’d love to walk alongside you and provide the support you need to give vulnerable children a loving home. Find out if we have volunteers in your area.

Disability Ministry: Building an Inclusive Community for Military Families

For military families raising children with disabilities, frequent moves can mean starting over—again and again. Finding new support systems and inclusive church communities can be overwhelming.

That’s why Kingdom Workers partners with volunteers across the U.S. to create free inclusive disability ministry events that connect families with:

Sensory-friendly events where every person is welcome.

Respite care opportunities for parents who need a break.

Church-based communities where faith and disability care go hand in hand.

If you’re stationed or live near one of our program sites, we’d love to help you connect with a supportive faith community for your family.

Healing and Hope for Survivors of Relationship Abuse

The stress of military life can take a toll on marriages and families. If you or someone you love is experiencing emotional, mental, or physical abuse, know this: you are not alone.

Our RISE program provides free and confidential:

Faith-based support groups where survivors can find strength and healing.

Connections to advocates and trained mentors for guidance.

Resources to rebuild a life free from abuse.

If you need support, we are here. You don’t have to go through this alone.

We also partner with Lutheran Military Support Group, which offers retreats and resources for service members and their spouses.

Wherever You Serve, We’re Here to Serve You

At Kingdom Workers, our mission is to walk alongside families who need encouragement, support, and a Christ-centered community. Whether you're fostering children, raising a child with disabilities, or seeking healing from an unhealthy relationship, we want to serve you—just as you have served our country.

Are you a military family looking for support? Let’s work to connect you with our community of Kingdom Workers.
