We believe, teach, confess, and proclaim:

1. The Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God, His unchanging and inerrant message to people of all times.
   
   
2. There is only one God. He is three distinct and individual persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
   
   
3. God created man holy and without sin. But man, of his own will, fell into sin and thus brought sin upon the whole human race.
   
   
4. Sin is thus in all people by nature and reveals itself in every transgression of God's holy will by thought, word, or deed.
   
   
5. The wages of sin is death and damnation in hell, an eternal agonizing separation from the holy and righteous God.
   
   
6. But God so loved the world that He sent His one and only Son, Christ Jesus, to redeem the world through His perfect life, His innocent suffering and death, and His resurrection from the dead.
   
   
7. This glorious fact is received by faith which is worked and nurtured in the heart by the Spirit of God, without our participation, through the means of grace: God's Word, Baptism, and the Lord's Supper.
   
   
8. By faith alone in the atoning work of Christ we are heirs of the glories of heaven. While on earth we want to show our love for Him who first loved us.
   
   
9. Faith in Jesus Christ is living and active, therefore faith produces good deeds that are pleasing to God and bring Him glory.
   
   
10. The Lord Jesus Christ commanded His followers to make disciples of all peoples throughout the entire world, and witness to the truth and love of God.
    
    
11. At our death we shall inherit the full glories of everlasting life with Christ in heaven, where there shall be no more pain or sorrow, and all tears shall be wiped from our eyes.

The Apostles Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

The Nicene Creed

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary, and became fully human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate. He suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who in unity with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy Christian and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.
