Location: Whiteriver Lutheran Church on Oak Street (White Mountain Apache Reservation)
When: Saturday mornings, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Time commitment: Based on volunteer availability
Volunteer requirements: Must live in or near Whiteriver, Arizona
DIY workshops teach everything from plumbing to installing tile to fixing drywall. Everyone in the community is invited to attend these free workshops. Each session focuses on learning and practicing a new skill so that community members can repair and maintain their homes. As a volunteer, you will lead or help with these workshops, teaching a skill or trade. You’ll share your faith in Jesus, provide spiritual encouragement, and invite participants to church.
