Dates: July 11th - October 14th, 2023 (Tuesday-Saturday work week)
Number of volunteers needed: 30-40 volunteers

There will be on-site camping for 6 campers and one or two BFC campers, available for $75 per week. The church also has a 4-bedroom home on site that will be reserved for those without a camper. A parsonage, about 12 miles away, and a public campground, 4 miles away, will be available for overflow.
A noon meal and snacks will be provided each day. Volunteers are responsible for their own meals in the morning, evening, and on non-working days. Anyone not involved with the day-to-day building process is encouraged to assist the congregation with the meals and break snacks as needed.

Each phase of the project requires different skills and numbers of volunteers, so if you’ve never lifted a hammer, you can still volunteer! Our experienced volunteers happily provide on-the-job training to those who need it.
Volunteers should bring a hard hat and safety glasses, preferably with side shields. Please wear clothing that protects you from sharp and blunt objects. Shoes must have thick soles, thick sides, and toe material—tennis shoes will not be allowed. Volunteers use their own personal tools, such as a hammer, nail belt, 1”x25’ tape measure, speed square, utility knife with blades, pry bar, and chalk line. All other tools are provided by Builders For Christ.
Anyone 16 years of age or older may serve on a Builders For Christ project. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have an adult chaperone who will volunteer as their supervisor. Only volunteers age 18 and older are permitted to operate motor vehicles and power tools, climb ladders and scaffolding, work on a roof, or engage in any other hazardous activities.
