The Thing About Peridot

Our car pulled up into the driveway of Our Savior's Lutheran. I waited a second for the dust to settle before opening my car door. The school itself was perfectly nestled along a hillside, overlooking a ring of purple mountains in the distance. As I looked around I was in awe of the beauty of the place, but also very curious. How did a school like this end up in the literal middle of a desert? And what was it about the place that made teachers excited to work here?

In today's episode we take you inside one school on the San Carols Apache Reservation that is helping transform how kids see themselves and their futures. And how a recent Builders For Christ project at the school is helping play a role in helping even more kids experience this kind of life-changing hope.
