Program Analyst

Reports To: Programs Coordination & Optimization Manager
Status: Full-time, Exempt

The Program Analyst will lead data analysis and data-driven recommendations at Kingdom Workers. A primary responsibility of this role is conducting monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) for all mission programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- partners cross-culturally with program leaders to provide data-driven recommendations that lead to improved program quality and increased growth
- collects, validates, analyzes, and reports on data
- conducts and continually optimizes monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL)
- develops quantitative and qualitative research methods, including, but not limited to, surveys, observational measures, key informant interviews, and focus groups
- develops, maintains, and ensures quality control of specific databases
- develops processes and systems for data collection, analysis, and dissemination
- communicates data and its findings to staff in an understandable and actionable manner
- supports Marketing, Organization Development, and other departments with ad-hoc analyses and data-driven recommendations
- reviews best practices in data, research, and MERL, connecting with other organizations for learning and development
- trains staff and volunteers on how to use data collection methods
- collaborates with team on creating and implementing learning opportunities for staff and volunteers
- other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Characteristics:
- must demonstrate alignment with Kingdom Workers' Statement of Faith
- bachelor’s degree required preferably in Statistics, Math, Business, Social Sciences, or related field
- 3+ years of program evaluation, data analysis, or research-related experience preferred
- strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with both attention to detail as well as accuracy
- experience in data entry and data management
- proven ability to work cross-culturally while building relationships and working collaboratively with others
- experience working with survey software and data visualization tools preferred experience with forecasting and data analysis programming languages (SPSS, Stata, MAXQDA, etc.) a plus, but not required

- ability to participate in a work environment that fosters open and honest two-way communication
- ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and deliver quality results on time, while working on multiple projects simultaneously
- must possess strong communication skills

- have proven ability to work cross-culturally while building relationships and working collaboratively with others
Location and Travel Expectations:
- position is based in the United States, with preference given to candidates in Milwaukee or Phoenix area
- position can be remote as approved by management
- ability to travel occasionally
- ability to travel by road, air or other means as may be encountered in a developing country
- ability to happily spend time and work in remote areas
- valid passport, or ability to obtain one, required
- valid driver’s license required
Other Conditions:
- frequently required to walk, sit, stand, and/or lift up to 30 pounds
- frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- continually required to talk and hear
- occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions including outdoor exposure
- occasional exposure to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials
