Thankful for What We Can't See

As we enter this season of gratitude, we want to take a moment to look behind the scenes at some of the people who make Kingdom Workers’ mission possible every single day. When you see stories of lives changed — families supported, churches strengthened, and communities built up — there’s a whole team working behind the curtain to guide that impact with care, strategy, and prayer.

Today, we’d love to introduce you to a few of those people.

Allie B. – Program Analyst

Allie helps ensure that our programs aren’t just meaningful — they’re effective, compassionate, and continually improving.

How does data shape our programs?

We are always using data to help inform program design. One example of this is with our disability programs in Malawi. We previously learned that participants needed ways to support income generation for their households. Based on this data, we developed our support group program. Now, we ask support group participants to share how they have used the skills that they've learned to affect their household, and from this data we can learn about successes and challenges with the program. We use this data to help inform program decisions, such as which skills are taught and where there are gaps in learning that we might be able to fill. We are seeing the results of this program and learning how we can continue to improve it.

Why is collecting data so important for our mission?

Collecting data is incredibly important for our mission! It allows us to see the impact our programs are having, identify strengths and weaknesses, make data-informed decisions, and hear directly from participants about the changes in their lives. It also helps us identify growth opportunities and ensures we are good stewards of our resources.

Kyler – Brand and Creative Coordinator

Kyler helps connect you — our donors, volunteers, and supporters — to the mission you make possible.

How does marketing help people feel connected?

Marketing bridges the gap between the work being done and the people who make it possible. Through storytelling, visuals, and consistent communication, Kyler helps donors and volunteers see the real impact of their support. It’s about helping them feel part of the mission and see how their generosity is transforming lives.

What’s one marketing campaign you’re really proud of?

One campaign I’m really happy about is the Abundantly More Campaign. This campaign is focused on major donors, and I had a big part in designing the look, logo, and materials that brought it to life. It was rewarding to see how the creative vision helped communicate the heart of the campaign — showing that, through God, we can accomplish abundantly more than we could ever imagine.

Keli – Admin Services Manager

Behind every strong mission is a supported team — and that’s where Keli comes in.

Something people might not expect about HR:

“It’s more than payroll and paperwork,” Keli shared. “We help build the team that carries Kingdom Workers’ mission forward and plan for the growth God is leading us toward.”

How does HR help support staff so we can do our best work?

We help remove barriers and anticipate needs so our team can grow and serve with joy. We also support the teams as a whole — because we’re always better when we work together.

Matt – Financial Controller

Meet Matt, our Financial Controller, who carefully stewards every resource at Kingdom Workers to maximize impact while ensuring spending aligns with God’s mission.

How do you ensure our finances are stewarded responsibly?

At Kingdom Workers, we ensure every resource is used efficiently and effectively to further God’s work. We maintain timely and accurate financial statements and conduct proactive reviews of budgets and forecasts to align spending with our organizational objectives, maximizing impact while honoring donor trust.

Why is careful financial stewardship important for our donors and mission?

When donors give to Kingdom Workers, they entrust us to use funds wisely to advance our mission of sharing Jesus’ love and serving neighbors. Responsible financial stewardship strengthens program impact and reflects our faith and relationship with God.

We’re Grateful for Our KW Staff!
